I am Alice, creating under the name Ali M.I see myself as a visual artist, working with mixed media in oil, acrylics, inks, prints, digital design and photography.My art is drawing, painting, printmaking, design, or combination thereof, .. creating texture, colour contrast and mixing fine elements along with abstract in one piece. What was once a hobby, is now becoming my work, officially starting with painting about 3 years ago, .. with some of my work in Miami and New York as private commissions. I attended some oil painting classes, but have no formal training, I had art as subject until matric. Loving all art forms , coming from a very talented family of artists, painting and creating is in my blood. Since I was a child, our mom placed drawing books and pencils in my siblings and my hands, be it in church or visiting family. I see the world as it is, .. in artform, as all is created.
