Natalie Hodgson

Natalie Hodgson is a South African living in Blairgowrie, Johannesburg. She has always been an artist but now that her two children are grown she has more time to develop her painting skills..
Her backgound in Fine Arts, Graphic Design and Interior Decorating have helped hone her skills in her creative pursuits and she has spent several years interpreting her clients briefs to personalise their interiors with soft furnishings including artworks.

Inspired by Van Gogh and Klimnt, her own imagination, walks in nature, and the canvas of creation seen everyday, has inspired her use of colour, textures, shapes and patterns in her paintings. She is presently fascinated with trees and the shapes formed from the interlocking branches when seen from afar as the light shines through them.

She hopes one day to develop a more impressionist style, to delve into Abstract art and to take part in more Art Exhibitions
